Lara has a BFA, Hons. from York University, majoring in film production, with a minor in screenwriting. She lives in Toronto, where she works as a video editor and an actor. She writes for pleasure in between and around paid gigs.

Her love of telling a really good story is at the centre of all her work.

Mrkoci is pronounced “mer-KO-see”. It’s Croatian, a language that is conservative with vowels.
